Nairobi National park is the oldest of all Kenya’s national parks. It is known for its Black Rhino Sanctuary and, despite bordering the city, it is home to lions, leopards and hyenas as well as many other Kenyan animals.
It was established in 1946. It gives visitors a chance to indulge in pure African safari at the footsteps of a major urban center. It is tiny in comparison to many of Kenya’s other national parks, and shows how Kenya was in its natural state, when the City of Nairobi was just becoming established over 100 years ago.
• Explore Nairobi National Park, a beautiful wildlife sanctuary only 6 miles ( 7 km) from Kenya’s capital
• Get up close with species of rhino, lions, leopards, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and many more
• Stay on the lookout for the park’s hundreds of bird species, including at least 20 seasonal European migrants

Continue to the David Sheldrick wildlife trust,a sanctuary for orphan baby elephants.
As you wander through the wildlife rehabilitation center,be enchanted by the sight of these playful animals frolicking in the water. Watch as the youngest among them are tenderly fed.

At giraffe center, admire creatures as they roam in a semi-wild setting. Learn about conservation efforts and have a chance to feed these gentle giants.
